What actually improves the daily experience of living in this city is, to a good extent, the quality of the environment. Not the arguments the city is loudest about — see the argument the city is having — but the ambient conditions you live inside every day.

There is insane honking in Jerusalem. Drivers here honk their horns unnecessarily. It is a city-wide problem.
And air quality is significantly lower than it should be for a Western capital.
